Original Author and Work Introduction

"Doraemon" creator Fujiko F. Fujio, since his debut in 1951, has been at the forefront of children's comics, continuously producing many wonderful works. "Perman" and "Kiteretsu Daihyakka" are also highly acclaimed masterpieces by Fujiko-sensei. ・"Doraemon" began serialization in "Shogakukan Gakunenbetsu Gakushushi" in 1970, and the TV anime officially aired in 1979. To date, it has been broadcast in over 60 countries, bringing dreams to countless children. ・Subsequently, the theatrical film series officially launched in 1980, with the first work, "Doraemon: Nobita's Dinosaur," achieving brilliant success. Since then, animated theatrical films have become a regular feature, and as of 2013, the cumulative total number of admissions had surpassed 100 million. Abstract

The story begins with a truly useless elementary school student named Nobita Nobi – unathletic, always failing tests, super lazy, and loves to sleep in. One day, a cat-shaped robot named Doraemon travels back in time from the 22nd century and arrives in the room of this pathetic boy, Nobita. It turns out that Nobita's great-great-grandson, Sewashi, wanted to change Nobita's miserable life and specifically sent Doraemon to him. To help the completely unreliable Nobita, Doraemon pulls out many secret gadgets from his four-dimensional pocket. Each secret gadget has astonishing functions...
